No visit to Colorado would be complete without a stop in the state’s capital and largest city, Denver. Affectionately known as the “Mile High City” due to its elevation of 5,280 feet above sea level. One of the highlights of any visit to Denver is exploring the lively LoDo (Lower Downtown) neighbourhood, where historic buildings have been transformed into trendy restaurants, boutiques, and galleries. Just a short drive from Denver, the city of Boulder is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and cultural aficionados alike. Nestled at the base of the majestic Flatirons, Boulder’s stunning natural setting is matched only by its vibrant, progressive spirit.
As I wander through the bustling streets of downtown Boulder, I’m struck by the city’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The city’s numerous parks and open spaces are ideal for hiking, rock climbing, and other outdoor pursuits.
One of my favourite aspects of Boulder is its thriving arts and culture scene. The city is home to numerous galleries, museums, and performing arts venues, including the acclaimed Dairy Arts Center and the iconic Boulder Theater. The city has many festivals or events, including the Boulder International Film Festival or the annual Bolder Boulder 10K race.
Colorado Springs – A gateway to natural wonders

It is nestled at the base of the majestic Pikes Peak. The city that seamlessly blends its rich history with a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. As the gateway to some of Colorado’s most breathtaking natural wonders, Colorado Springs is a must-visit destination.
